Drive Safely this Holiday Season.

So many of us will be headed out to visit family and friends this time of year.  Please exercise extra caution has you travel the ever-changing Winter roadways of the Denver area.  Blankets, a first-aid kit, the right tires, etc. are all important.  Google a list of things to take along before you head out on your journey.

The families who comprise The German Car Shoppe will be celebrating the holidays together as we hope that you will be.  No matter what make or model of car you drive please make sure that it is properly equipped to handle Winter driving.  We do not want to see you this time of year unless it is for preventative maintenance.

The German Car Shoppe has been proud to serve the Denver Metro from its location in Littleton for many years and will be here for you again in 2018.  When you get a few minutes, we invite you to visit thegermancarshoppe.com to learn more about us.  Once again, from our families to yours in the Denver area have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Winterize, winterize, winterize.

We can’t say it enough…on a cold Colorado winter day your German made vehicle needs to be properly winterized.  This is not San Diego it’s Denver!  The radical changes in temperature and driving conditions will occur virtually overnight.  If this is your first winter living in our beautiful area beware of the weather.

Here are some winterizing tips for a Denver winter –

1.  Have your battery checked
2.  Change the wiper blades and refill the fluid
3.  Strongly consider snow tires
4.  Check the tire pressure frequently
5.  Change the oil and its viscosity

Some of these tips and more may be DIY jobs, but for the big picture people of the Denver area make an appointment at The German Car Shoppe.  We are your Denver area German Car winterizing professionals.  Don’t hit the holiday road before you stop at our shop located at 5115 Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.  Call for an appointment at (303) 798-2287.
