Some Early Year News on your Favorite German Cars.

There is a lot happening behind the scenes as 2018 dawns.  For example, Audi is working on a new method of turning water into diesel.  What a money-saver that would be!  Volkswagen is putting 85 billion dollars into electric and self-driving cars.  And…there has been early word of the BMW i8 S Coupe.

Now here is one that you may want to look into.  The 2020 BMW M3 will reportedly have nearly 500 HP!  According to Car Magazine the 2020 M3 will be equipped with a new twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine known as the S58B30.  Word has it that it will contain the same water injection system as the M4 GTS.

With all of these innovations on the horizon it is comforting to know that we have the answer to all of our German Car repair needs in the Denver area.  For decades, the clear choice has been The German Car Shoppe.  There is not…and WILL NOT be a German Car on the road that we cannot fix.  Our shop is located at 5115 Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.  Call (303) 798-2287.

Taking Care of your Benz in the Winter.

Don’t leave your Mercedes parked for months with a nearly empty fuel tank. The empty space in the fuel tank of your Mercedes Benz will contain vapor, and over time it will condense to water. The problem is, the water will not only contaminate the gasoline, but it may cause corrosion to the fuel level sensor. You may have other problems such as the fuel gauge no longer works or shows the correct gas level.

Here are some other tips –

1.  Check your tire pressure frequently.
2.  Use a full vehicle cover at night.
3.  If the car is going to sit for a bit call us for some helpful tips.

Here is the best tip of all.  If you live in the Denver Metro always remember The German Car Shoppe for all of your Mercedes Benz maintenance 12 months a year.  We will be there at our 5115 Santa Fe shop located in Littleton every day.  Just give us a call whenever your Benz needs a car doctor at (303) 798-2287.
