The Death of Diesel?

What is this all about?  Not so long ago, governments were advocating diesel cars being better than gas due to superior fuel economy.  Diesels are, generally speaking, more fuel-efficient than gasoline models and they do produce less CO2 - one of the main gases associated with climate change.

This diesel backlash seems to be affecting the second-hand market as well as demand for new cars.  You might expect older diesel models to lose value in the current climate.  The reason more recent cars are also depreciating faster is likely to have a lot to do with a general lack of enthusiasm for diesels and the prices of new and nearly-new models coming down.

At The German Car Shoppe we want you to stay informed.  No matter what the future holds we will continue being Denver’s choice for repair and maintenance of German cars.  We are proud of our ability to roll with the punches and pledge to serve you with quality work from our shop located at 5115 South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.  Call for an appointment at (303) 798-2287.
